UAF Volunteer Gives Back in Honor of Her Father

Hello everyone,

My name is Sloan Buhse and I have been volunteering with United Aid Foundation for almost 10 years. I am passionate for helping others and being apart of UAF has allowed me to serve a global community. 20 years ago, my father died in the terrorist attack at the World Trade Center on September 11th. I participated in this video with United Aid Foundation for many reasons, the greatest of which is to show that the children of 9/11are strong, resilient, and that many of us have taken the loss of our parents and tired to turn tragedy into good.

I hope you will watch my story about my father, Patrick Buhse, and how I am creating a legacy of service and making the world a better place.

That legacy has been made possible because of my connection to United Aid, and their willingness to take a 15-year old girl on a mission across the world that changed her life for the better.

If you are touched by my story, I would like to ask you to make a donation to United Aid Foundation. In the 20 years since 9/11, one of the most powerful lessons I have learned is that helping others is the best form of therapy!

As you may known, there is a lot of need in this world, both at home and abroad. I am hoping your will join me and United Aid Foundation in delivering direct aid to people in crisis wherever and whenever we can.

 Thank you for your time.

 Sincerely,

 Sloan A. Buhse
