Plus to Your Karma

A note from Oksana Bashkirtseva,a refugee from Ukraine who lived at our house in Romania the beginning of the war and recently relocated to the UK.

I am very grateful to this organization for everything: for shelter, for good living conditions and helping others. I went with United Aid Foundation volunteers to different spots and saw good conditions for Ukrainians, and for people with disabilities, and in sanatoriums; people have good conditions.

Volunteers provide Ukrainian refugees with hygienic means, with food. Yesterday I talked to one woman in the shelter and she says that they are receiving enough good food. The volunteers treat people very well and accept the Ukranians warmly..

As for our family, we live here together with volunteers, they help us in an emotional way I mean, they create conditions like at home, plant flowers, and play with our children. Our children are quite happy here.

When the bombing started in Kharkiv, and we live nearby, we knew that in a few hours we would be in danger. We left early, and the children did not have time to see all the horror. Here at the UAF house in Romania, volunteers created such psychological conditions that my children are happy and haven`t experienced the horrors of war.

They miss their family, and their friends, but thanks to United Aid Foundation, it feels less.

I am very grateful to this organization, you are doing a good thing, I wish all the best to all its members.

Fast and easy road to all of you, and plus to your karma: we say this instead of thanking you, meaning that you and your children will be happier because of your actions.
