United Aid Foundation has been working in Nepal since the Gorkha earthquake in April of 2015 that killed nearly 9,000 people and left tens of thousands of homeless. UAF initially focused on food, blankets and basic needs for people in hard-to-reach villages. Since then our teams have returned twice to help build housing for those who lost their homes. United Aid Foundation continues to work with our volunteers in Nepal providing food, water and hygiene supplies to those affected by floods and people of the lower caste who live in poverty.
